DIGITAL ART I
Fall 2022
Created in Adobe Illustrator Through the use of dynamic shapes and colors, I wanted to capture the fantastic night life of Taipei, Taiwan, since it is a major part of the culture there. The main building, Taipei 101, is also featured here.

SPACE & PLACE PROJECT
TEXT AS ART
I played with the idea of bending gender specific rules such as putting what's considered to be feminine dolls on manly bods. It did come out as kind of ridiculous, but I thought it blended perfectly with the notion of society as a whole trying to fit women into male spaces and not truly giving them a chance to shine in their own unique way. Characters used: Draculaura as Batman, Frankie Stein as Iron Man, Clawdeen as G.I. Joe, Lagoona as Venom, Cleo de Nile as He-Man

Digital Art I
My identity project is an animation I created to represent my stages of life as an artist. I went from drawing stick figures to being interested in drawing dinosaurs and animals before discovering anime. From there, I began to take more technical classes and finally, developed a style of my own. I never truly considered myself an artist, more of a hobbyist. This is an act of declaration to myself that yes, I have come a long way and yes, it's okay to consider myself an artist.
